This is a picture of Elk Mountain in the beautiful Wichita mountains. I have hiked here multiple times while going to school in Norman since it's only about one and a half hours away. I enjoy camping, hiking, and other outdoorsy activities in my free time.

ReplyDeleteAs you can guess, mountains are a big part of the geography of India, and also of the stories that come from there. Maybe you will want to explore the legends associated with the mountains of India in your reading for the class. :-)
That is a very pretty scene from the Wichita’s! I have been there a few times but have never recalled seeing this view. I also enjoy hiking and this has made me want to go back! I too am from Oklahoma so there are not many place to hike as I am sure you know but this is a great place that is actually fairly close.
