  2. Hi Megan! Thanks so much for your lovely comment and I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I really had a great time with the oucreate/wordpress platform so if you're thinking of using it for any other projects, I'd definitely recommend it!

Also, I love the name of your blog. I actually haven't seen very many bollywood movies despite being Indian, but I love bollywood music, haha!

  3. Hi Megan! Great start to your storybook! I was curious how you were going to write the stories on a Dating Website so I love the idea of having the stories be single’s information pages. We often focus on the relationships in the stories and not really on the single men and women so I’m really looking forward to your Storybook! I was a little confused by the Home tab and the Introduction tab so I would only have one of those tabs. I kept pressing intro to find your writing and didn’t realize it was at a different location. Other than that, your layout is straight forward and I’m glad you already have some story ideas ready to go! One single person you might want to feature is Lakshmana! His character is a perpetual “third wheel” so I think his profile would be pretty funny and interesting! I can’t wait to read more stories. What a unique idea.

  4. Megan, I'm fully expecting you to get some accidental page views from some lonely singles out there. Your intro was smooth and immersive, almost exactly what one would expect from a dating site, with really only a few hints at what's really going on here. You might take the chance to blow up some of those hints a little. It looks like you might have intended to add more characters/lovers at the end. But aside from that, your very brief reference to Arjuna left me a little unsure of where your narrator stands. Since you seem to be writing as the dating site itself, are you referring to Arjuna as a one-time member (perhaps banned now), or as an old story of a classic Don Juan we're all familiar with? The former would seem more appropriate to me (since it looks like you'll be writing about Hanuman and the others as present-day users), but it's not really clear as it stands now.
Over all, I think this storybook format will give you an awesome chance to go deep into characters. Since each character is involved in multiple stories, your storybook might get to explore things differently than a lot of others!

  5. What an exciting concept! I could actually see this being the introduction to a similar online service. Is this only for heterosexual match-ups? I think there's some really cool potential in this concept for a couple characters that we don't typically think of as experiencing same-sex attraction. Other than that, I think you have some really amazing idea here. There are so many storytelling opportunities, and so many chances to learn a little more about the different characters that we might not know otherwise. There could be some really fun relationships between gods, humans, and demi-gods... maybe that could be one of the boxes you have to mark? As in, "looking for..." to help people decide if they want a moral or immortal love. Also, it could be really interesting to explore who is behind the website! Is it the gods? A human? A magical monkey? That might make for an interesting story!

  6. Hey Megan! Wow, your website is packed full of awesome stuff going on! I really love how realistic you made the Storybook of a dating site look. The photos you chose are perfect for the kind of stories you’ll be writing and I can’t wait to see what other photos you end up adding to the website. Your introduction was very well written, and transitioned well through each point. The one thing you might look at changing around is the home and introduction tabs because those were a bit confusing at the beginning. I also think that it would be fun to reveal who the narrator is at the end of all of your stories. I personally am currently thinking it is some adorable older woman who is sort of like a matchmaker for all of these people! I will definitely be returning to read more of your stories later this semester!

  7. Hi Megan! I really love how you made your storybook resemble a dating site look so well. I also like how this will be geared towards all of the single men and women in the stories, and not on those in the relationships. I feel like the stories also go into more description about the relationships and never about the stories of a character being single or the struggles of being single. I wonder if you'll get any accidental viewers or comments. Your introduction was very well written and very easy to follow. I did not have any problems navigating through your website. I particularly liked how the tabs on the left were already outlined with your stories in order and you can look at what story is to come up next. I definitely look forward to coming back to your page to read more of the stories and I think you are off to a great start!

  8. Hi Megan! I've been having a great time reading everyone's creative storybooks, and your is no exception. The idea to create a dating site with a couple of highlighted singles is a real thing (Coffee meets Bagel always has a similar thing). Picking a couple of great singles from the epics is a great way to go through their stories and things that make them unique. Your introduction would sound even better if you maybe went into a little more detail about the three singles that you're going to talk about in the next sections. Of course, I understand that maybe you haven't decided which three you want to talk about, but once you decide, it would be great to include more info! Putting in those references to Hanuman and Soorpanka set your site apart from a normal dating website, so including those is key. Also, I loved your reference to Arjuna, it made me laugh. As far as pictures go, I really like that your big picture looks like a couple that might have met on your website. I also really like that your other photo looks like a pretty stock photo that a real dating site might have on their main webpage. Great job so far with your blog!

  9. What a great and creative idea. I really like this storybook idea quite a bit. The idea of creating a dating site from our source material is actually one of the most creative ideas I've seen someone do in this class yet so well done on that front. I think you've set yourself up to write some really good pieces based on the stories we read in class and I look forward to seeing which ones you go with. The style is light, humorous, and very easy to read. I think you might want to just try fleshing out the details of your piece just a little more. It doesn't have to be a ton but you want your readers to be fully immersed without them having to look around on their own and you certainly don't want them to end up feeling lost. Either way, this is an excellent idea and a great start on it. I look forward to seeing the rest!

  10. This was a very unique idea Megan! I was very intrigues with the concept of having a dating site for your storybook. I am curious to see how this will work with other stories in the future. Overall this was a very well written introduction to your idea. This seems to be a very interesting concept that I think will be very cool. I liked how the second paragraph talked about the company’s ideals and beliefs. The third paragraph reminded me of a commercial for Christian mingle which is also a religion based website. It sounded very realistic and actually came off sounding like an actual business. The fourth paragraph follows the same business minded ideals of the third paragraph. I like the detail and creativity involved with this story. This story sounded very well written and I was unable to find any grammatical errors that needed correcting. I also think that the image chosen is a great representation of your story.

  11. How neat! I really like the concept of a dating website... I can see that you're already mapping out profiles, and I can't wait to read those! I'd imagine the content will be contemporary? Which is always fun! Because of the company's morals and religious backing it makes my americanized mind think of Christian Mingle, so the concept is really relatable. Also the picture is PERFECT! I know, I know... there needs to be some constructive feedback but I honestly can't think of a thing. Maybe I would encourage you (as you continue to write the profiles) to find levels of depth? Usually dating bios are really surface-level content wise, so watch out for that? ((Based on your intro I highly doubt that'll be an issues, plus it's not fair to comment on something that has yet to be written. Just a little thought I had!))

    Great start!

  12. I saw the name of your storybook and had to choose it as my extra post to comment on this week! I love that someone thought to do this. I think you'll have such a great time creating this storybook and everyone else will have such a great time reading it! I'm excited to see the scenarios you come up with and to see if Soorpanaka finally finds love! I wrote a story based on the show Bachelor in Paradise and it kind of reminds me of this idea you had. In my story, Soorpanaka did not find love so maybe you'll give her a chance and she can be happy for once. I suppose antagonists can have happy endings every once in a while. I was going to tell you I saw one typo...

    "Soorpanaka is has been misunderstood..."

It should say "Soorpanaka has been misunderstood..."

Overall, wonderful job with your introduction. I loved it!

  13. Your storybook was the one I chose for my free choice and I definitely was not disappointed! I was really hoping for someone to create a storybook with a similar theme so thank you for this creation! I just wanted to say that you did such a good job with the overall layout and structure of your storybook. The pictures that you chose fit your theme in such a way that it is nearly flawless. The happiness from the couple in the picture almost makes me want to use this service! I thought the statistics that were created with the introduction were great. The fact that 11 years in the making created over 5 million members is a great accomplishment! These little things add a sense of realism to your project which is very important. I was almost convinced I needed to find the love of my life after reading this. Overall, great work on your storybook so far and I can't wait to see your progression!

  14. Okay, I love the topic of your storybook! This is so creative and it will be so fun for you to write. The layout of your page is very visually appealing!
You did a fantastic job of writing in a way that sounds like it actually came from a dating website. I’m sure it was a challenge to keep the text straightforward and professional, but you did a really good job here. Adding “background info” about the dating site made it seem very authentic. I’m so impressed that you mixed the dating website theme with the themes from Indian epics. They flowed together seamlessly! I did not see any errors in your writing either. I’m excited to see what else you do with this storybook. I’m definitely excited to start reading some of the dating profiles! There is so much room for creativity here, and I can’t wait to see what you do with it. It might be challenging to make each characters’ personality come through in their profile, but I’m sure you will do a great job. You’re off to an awesome start!

  15. Very smooth start to your StoryBook so far! Great job! It's very easy to navigate through!

    Introduction:
When you reference not assisting people who are looking for a fling (like Arjuna), I think you could tie in some humor by saying something like: (We dropped Arjuna from our list of applicants for that very reason!)

When you look at a person's history in depth, do you consult Yama on the weight of their Karma? What about their previous lives? What about what's fated in their stars (Their Nakshatras)? Should I be scared to get my own history analyzed if I sign up (how far back do you go?)?

At the very bottom, I think it would be really neat if you had headshots with each god/goddess' enticing sentence. Like, Here's Hanuman! Don't let the facial features fool you, he can be serious in the art of love! Soorpanaka has been misunderstood..... etc etc. Some pictures down there would be nice. :)

    Hanuman's Story:
Just have an extra n on Indian (spellchecker probably wouldn't have cuaght this!) in this sentence... " between Indian and Sri Lanka was constructed... "

He can shape shift, and grow larger? *raises eyebrows a few times* this could be GREAT when you're tired of your spouse and need a little variety! Ha!

Join Hindloveronline (you dropped off the u here, wasn't sure if it caught your eye or not)

You did a GREAT job on his profile, and I appreciated your author's note. I practically had a crush on him when I finished reading about him too! I really liked that you used the term Varna, it's something I looked up and researched a little bit as well, and found it interesting how truly vague it is. I appreciate the respect you gave in keeping him as normal as possible!

Really well written and nicely done! It looks like it is progressing along nicely!

  16. I absolutely love your storybook idea! I love that it is a matchmaking site and honestly it goes perfectly with the culture as well since marriage is such an important part of this culture!

Introduction: I loved how detailed your introduction was. I like that it was very specific and realistic as well. I love the typical picture of a happy couple that is the trademark of this specific type of website. Very realistic. You almost had me fooled.

Hanuman's story: I really enjoyed the Hanuman story. I find the entire aura of him to be very admirable. I like that you choose him to be one of your stories. Especially since he has such a strong selling point.

I was wondering would it be possible for you to have stories of past couples that you have brought together? Maybe you could put two of the character together in a relationship to show what they are like together? I just think that would be a fun thing to read about.

Good luck with all of the rest of your stories! I wish you all the best, and keep up the good work.

  17. Hi! I already commented on your introduction but I was so interested in your storybook I had to come back this week to read your first entry. You are doing a great job! Your story book reminds me a little bit of my own. Mine is a marriage counseling website so its like the sequel to your storybook haha! Anyway, first off I want to start off with your Author's note, It was very helpful and added even more chapter to Hanuman's profile. I like how you incorporated the gossip of a past lover and the fun fact about what his race, Varna, meant was funny. I enjoyed seeing Hanuman' through your eyes. I never really thought about how kind his characteristics were. My favorite line of yours was when you said, "There’s no telling what he would sacrifice for his own wife!" after expressing everything he did just to unite Rama and Sita. As far as suggestions, I think you're format is really nice and I like your voice, but it might be interesting to add a line or two from Hanuman himself. That might make it a little more authentic. Other than that, I don't really have anything else to suggest! Great job so far!

  18. I read your introduction to your storybook the other week and thought the idea behind your storybook was truly genius. I read you first post, about Hanuman and thought you did a wonderful job of portraying what he's all about! Overall I think the story looked pretty good. I noticed a couple things you may want to fix though.

"" He was the key to rescuing poor Sita from her captor by being the only Vanara able to leap from the mainland to the island of Lanka, and then outsmart the demon, Ravana, to escape while burning down the palace."

This looks like a run-on sentence to me. You may try to split it into two separate sentences. Usually these are fixed fairly easily!

"If this quiet, yet bold romantic is for you then please join Hindloveronline today to meet the monkey of your dreams!"

Also at the very end you forgot to add the "u" to HIndu in "Hinduloveronline"!

I really love your storybook so far and am so excited to read your future stories. I myself have tried online dating sites (Tinder) and they're always interesting. I never take them seriously but surprisingly I have actually made a few good FRIENDS from Tinder. I don't have the app anymore but boy, it sure was an interesting time!

  19. I'm happy to be back to your storybook! I love the way you designed Hanuman's profile. The voice is really strong and definitely carries the essence of a dating website. I also LOVE your authors note! I laughed so hard by your comment about Hanuman being the closest thing to a crush. It was hilarious.

"Beyond the battlefield, Hanuman enjoys swimming in sea, watching the sun rise, and exploring the jungle. This athletic hero needs an active woman to keep up with all of his energetic lifestyle full of travel and natural wonders."

I love these details, they're so clever! I'm really excited to see where you continue to take this storybook. I'll be back next time!

  20. Your storybook homepage looks really clean and polished! I found no issues here. I did see that you mentioned that what drives you as a business it the number of connections, marriages, and children that you've helped to create over the years... I think it might be really interesting to have some blurbs or quotes from the kids! Or somehow integrate an interview with a couple you've successfully matched and how they view their now successful relationship. I'm not sure if you'd have time for this, but it would be a different angle!

Hanuman's page was still really well done, and I agree that he is very crush-worthy indeed! I think a sentence about how he won't stay on the market long would be appropriate on his profile page! Perhaps you could explain how he's been living in Rama's shadow for a while, which is why he hasn't branched out (much) to find his own love life.

This all looks really clean and coming along nicely!

  21. Hi Megan!
I was really unsure of your concept at first because of the title, but actually reading through it, your storybook is so creative! I really think that your introduction captures the style and pitch of an actual dating site, and really adds a little more depth. The subtle jab at Arjuna threw me off, but I like where you're going and you picked a really interesting set of characters to make profiles for. I wouldn't have considered Ganga after her weird relationship with Shantanu, but maybe you can tie in the fact that once she almost tried to drown 8 kids according to some divine curse.

Your profile for Hanuman was excellent! I like that you did a bit of research and incorporated facts like a potential fling with a Lankan mermaid; I'd never heard of that before and looked it up shortly after reading. You also had a really compelling reason for picking him; we're always told that Hanuman is one of the most pious bhaktas of Rama, but of course those same traits would make him a suitable match. All in all, I'm excited to see where you go with this storybook!

Also, from a design standpoint, have you considered using a different tumblr theme to give it more of the dating site look? You can find a lot of free tumblr themes at places like http://theme-hunter.tumblr.com and they have instructions on how to use them. It may take a bit of time, but it will only enhance your page!

  22. I came back to check out how the dating is going! I was sad to see that Soorpanaka hasn't logged in yet, but I'll just have to come back. I reread Hanuman and I realized that you've done further research for the sake of authenticity, which I really appreciate. I don't know if you've edited this post since the last time I read it, but I laughed a LOT this time. I loooooved, " Beyond the battlefield, Hanuman enjoys swimming in the sea..." The voice in the profile is SO "the dating game". I thought of an interesting idea (or at least something I would be interested in!). What if you pair up the profiles in the end? I'd be thrilled to see how you play matchmaker, and what that post would sound like. I'll definitely be back for the next profile!

  23. Hey Megan! I am so glad to be coming back to your Storybook! Wow, has it progressed since the first time I read through it. I love the new profile you have added, Hanuman’s. I think that you do a great job capturing both the character’s personality, but also add your own twist to them. The interests and hobbies were great, and I think that you have definitely done your homework on the stories. Your addition of the swimming hobby was great, because it isn’t something you would think for a ‘monkey-man’ but it adds more depth to his character! I think that the picture you chose for Hanuman was good, but also a little gruesome perhaps? Personally it reminds of Indiana Jones where they have to rip the heart out! As a whole I think you did a great job though, and can’t wait to read more later this semester!

  24. What a clever idea for a story book! The dating website design is a humorous way to portray the characters we have encountered while reading these Indian epics. Their personalities are so grand, like Hanuman, their profiles can be pretty outrageous. It would be fun if in the end you did an update story over two of the characters you have written profiles for and they have gone on a date and you write an update on them. Like some dating commercials will interview people who have met on their site after the first date and see how it went or if they would go on a second one.
The layout of your profile is also easy to follow and very clear.

Another fun profile to see would be Laskshamana! He watched after Sita and has such a pure heart. I always felt bad for him because he never had a love interest but took care of Sita and Rama both. You said Hanuman was the closest thing you had to a crush in the Indian epics but I think Lakshamana was mine!

  25. The story read this week was the new Surpanaka story. I adored this post. I found it even better than the last post about Hanuman! I enjoy that you go into detail about all of the things that Surpanaka had to, unfortunately, go through in life. It allows for us to have emotion for her which I feel wasn't done in the Ramayana itself. She was made out to be evil, and her side of the story wasn't given much importance. My favorite line is ' “I just want someone who will be loyal to me, someone that I can trust, and who doesn’t mind spending most nights at home with a fluffy dog.”' It is so adorable! I think that you did an amazing job with making the profile realistic. Great job! I can't wait to read more of the profiles!

    ReplyDelete
  26. What an awesome idea! I love that you chose to create a modern day dating website like match.com. You’re introduction/sales pitch was absolutely fantastic! I like that you put real effort into, going so far as to include some credentials and numbers that would draw people in. I think it’s really cool that you chose to use the stories of some of the more eligible characters from our stories to use as your singles profiles. It’s such an interesting and unique idea and it definitely makes me want to read more!
My only negative feedback comes from a discontinuity with spelling. In your single’s profiles summaries you spell Soorpanaka, but in your sidebar thing you spell it Surpanakha. It’s not a huge deal, but I do think that they should probably be spelled the same. I know it gets hard sometimes because every story seems to tell them with a different spelling, if not an entirely different name.
Anyway, great job and I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

  27. I absolutely love your idea for your storybook and I'm surprised that today is my first time to read it! It's awesome! In the introduction, you provided some comedy with the comment (like Arjuna)! We were all thinking it and you came out and said it in your story. I read Hanuman's profile... I never thought that Hanuman could be seen as an eligible bachelor but you did it well! It's really awesome that in dating sites like this, only the positive things are displayed. You even included a photo of Hanuman that is very handsome! I like that in Soorpanaka's profile, you used a difference in color (or is it bolding?). I was mostly skimming through all of the story book, but I paid special attention to those parts because they have been set apart from the rest of the story. I really look forward to reading the profiles of Bhishma and Ganga! Ganga the goddess definitely has a lot of great positive attributes. She should definitely not be single if she doesn't want to be!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Aw I love the premise of your storybook! It's so cute to imagine these characters as finally finding true love! I had no idea that Hanuman married Ravana's daughter in some versions of the Ramayana! That's so interesting and sweet. I also had no idea about Surpanakha's tragic backstory. It definitely makes it even more depressing with Rama and Lakshmana's rejection although the idea that she purposely instigated the war is very intriguing and makes me wonder how cunning she is haha. I liked your interpretations of their personalities too! I'm not sure about "quiet intellectual" for Surpanakha because in my mind she always seems a bit feisty, but I like it! I also like the dog because honestly everybody needs a dog. You did a really good job of explaining their personalities and backstory too without seeming too expositiony. Great job and can't wait to see how you adapt the other two characters!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Hi Megan! This is such an interesting concept for the storybook project. I really like all the different storybooks about love and love life within the world of Indian epics...it really makes you look at them differently. For instance, I would have never thought about Surpanakha actually being a kind person looking for love from what I read in the Ramayana. I love how you included that she was looking for someone with a heart ready to forgive, because after all what she did to Sita was pretty terrible. Like you said though, it makes total sense to include her on your website. I think that the whole online dating method that you are using is really awesome because it allows the reader to see a completely different side to the epics and the characters in them. The modern twist is such a fun way to write the storybooks in my opinion! Great job and I can't wait to read more!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I was so excited to get back to your storybook! I love Surpanakha in the stories, so I was definitely excited to read about her dating website. I feel like this post was a little bit less "typical dating site" material, which is definitely not a bad thing. You definitely included those moments, like "looking for a man with forgiveness in his heart" and "she is quite the intellectual who enjoys reading outside of her hammock". I also love this idea of her adopted dog. That's funny. I also really like how you've used this more "second hand" characters, because it gives the readers much more detail into parts of the stories that kind of go unknown. Love it, will be back!

  31. I just read your story about Surpanaka. It was so great! I was eager to read your story about her because she has always intrigued me. I didn't know about her background so I am happy you added that. It gave much more depth to her story and made her easier to relate to. Also, I'm a huge animal lover so the whole adopting the dog thing was right up my alley. That gave Surpanaka a sweet side too. A side no one has really gotten a glimpse of until now! This really made me hopeful that Surpanaka would find someone to love her. Will we get to know if any of the people signed up on Hinuloveronline find love? That would be interesting to somehow add a "where they are now" story. When you present Surpanaka to us in the way that you did, she doesn't seem all that bad. And maybe villains deserve love too?

  32. Hey Megan!
I just read your latest story about Bhishma! I really like how you added the fact that he was looking for a man! I think it was a great twist to the actual character. I do wish that we had more information when it came to Bhishma. I feel like we didn't get enough about him. I think it would be great to get a quote from him on why he waited so long or why he was so afraid of being honest. It would add a lot more emotion to the story which I feel is needed. I like his interests and I do agree that I would expect him to be an incredibly scholarly person. Great job coming up with this profile though! I really enjoy your storybook. I do wish you had some couples that you had already brought together to showcase your great matching skills!

  33. Hi Megan! I read your story about Hanuman and really enjoyed it. You showed us everything about him and all that he has accomplished throughout his life. This is exactly the type of things that we would expect to see in a site to unite people on. You have all of the people on the site that would make good candidates as well. I have never thought of this idea but I really enjoyed reading about it in your storybook. I also like the title and some of the pictures you used in your stories are great. They show us the person along with people getting married or about to get married. I wonder who they would end up with or what would happen to them afterwards. I am looking forward to reading some of your other stories as well.

  34. Hi Megan,
I am so glad I've been able to keep up with your storybook. Your theme has kept me interested this whole time and each week I’ve looked forward to reading the next dating profile. You did not disappoint this week with Bhishma! What a perfect twist! That was so creative of you and meshes perfectly with the original storyline. I’m glad you included an LGBTQ character. Someone recommended to me that I include an LGBTQ character in my marriage counseling service storybook but I already had all my stories lined up. If I ever get around to writing that story I think I might use your story as inspiration. For your storybook as a whole, I like your set up. It is easy to navigate and fits well with your theme. I hope for your last story you do another female character! I’m curious which character you will choose for your last story!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Hey Megan! Another great addition to your story. I last left off at your "Hanuman" section, and it was great. I like how you added some hobbies that were related to our epics readings, like swimming and exploring the jungle. It's really clever how you weave that in. I'm also really happy that you added a section dedicated to Surpanakha! She is definitely underappreciated in the stories. Unfortunately, in my storybook, she comes across as gross and terrifying. It's time somebody wrote something that highlights her good qualities. I like the backstory you told about her--the problems with her ex-husband, her new dog, all of it was great. I couldn't tell which facts were based on the readings and which were created by you, which is an accomplishment. I hope somebody online realizes what a catch Surpanakha is. And lastly, in reading your blog, in general, I love how you've incorporated all types of genders, personalities, and sexualities into your stories.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hi Megan! Last time I read your storybook, you had just added the introduction, but I don’t think I had commented on it. I love the idea for this storybook and now that I have gotten to read all four stories associated with it, I think you’ve done a fantastic job of executing this kind of storybook. I enjoyed all three characters that you provided profiles for, especially since they were all characters that I don’t come to mind when you think of romance in their stories. Honestly, that is what makes them each perfect candidates for your website and even offer a bit of commentary on the positive spin this website is able to create for even Surpanakha. I think the last story/profile on Bhishma does a good job of balancing the different aspects of Bhishma’s personality, background story, and revelation of his interest in men. I don’t think you need to add anything to the story to necessarily account for his death, since this is your story and you can interpret it how you see fit. I’m glad I was able to see all your stories come together and accomplish such a great idea for a storybook!

  37. Hey Megan! This is my first time returning to your story since I read the first post or introduction post for your dating site. I remember reading it and being extremely intrigued about the idea and how it would work out. I really liked this idea and style for the storybook and wish I would have done something similar to this. I think you did a great job of making the storybook and making all of the different characters on the site. I look at all of the profiles of the chosen characters and my favorite was Surpanaka. It was great and the part about adopting a dog was definitely something I connected with. I'm a dog owner so I liked that aspect of her profile a lot. Overall, I loved reading through your storybook and can definitely say it was one of my favorites that I read this year.

  38. Hey! I've read your storybook about three times throughout the semester and I keep coming back for more. This time I read your entry about Bhishima. He really did have quite the unfortunate curse place upon him. Though he did ask for it, it still wasn't fair! I like that he didn't die in your version of the story. He deserved to live for being so selfless. I did not expect the twist that you added. I loved that you added an LGBTQ character into your storybook. I also saw some of our classmates doing the same. I never did but now I wish that I would have. It was a very nice touch. And I think adding his other characteristics to his profile was very important. And you had a great balance between everything. I really enjoyed this story. It was very clever and well thought out! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas break!
